Mangaluru: Police arrest four for ATM skimming

Mangaluru: Police arrested four persons for fixing skimmers at various ATM machines in Managluru.

The arrested are identified as Gladwin Jinto Joy alias Jintu (37), resident of Thrissur, Kerala; Dinesh Singh Rawat (44); Abdul Majeed (27), Koodlu, Kasargod; and Rahul T S (24), a Kerala resident.

The accused had reportedly fixed skimming devices in ATMs of Bank of India at Kulai, Canara Bank at Nagori and Capitanio, SBI ATM at Mangaladevi, Canara Bank ATM at Chilimbi etc. Police also confiscated skimming device, two cars, fake ATM cards, five mobile phones, two apple watches from their possession.

The value of seized things is estimated at Rs 25,00,000.
