Mangaluru: Police crackdown on shrill horns and tinted glasses, register 120 cases

Mangaluru police, on Friday, launched a major operation against vehicles using shrill horns and tinted glass. As a result, they were able to register a whopping 120 cases in a single day.

During the operation, the police removed the horns from 106 vehicles, primarily buses, and registered a case against the offenders. Additionally, the police removed the tinted glass from 14 vehicles and filed a case against the owners.

The police have stated that this operation will continue and that they will take strict action against those who violate the rules.
