Mangaluru: Scooter crushed under truck’s wheels, rider killed

Mangaluru: A scooter rider was killed after coming under the wheels of a truck on Sunday evening.

The accident occurred on a stretch of National Highway 66 (NH66) between Jappinamogaru and Nadumogaru.

Due to the impact, the scooter rider was killed on the spot. Several others were injured in the incident, sources said.

The identities of the deceased and the injured were not immediately known.

Mangaluru MLA UT Khader helped in transferring the injured to the hospital.
