Mangaluru: SDPI stages protest over murder of Abdul Jaleel in Katipalla

Mangaluru: SDPI workers staged a protest near Clock tower in Mangaluru on Friday condemning the recent murder of a 43-year-old shopkeeper, Abdul Jaleel in Katipalla.
SDPI State secretary Ashraf Machar said that the police officials are currently under pressure and not properly investigating the murder. He also accused the police of discrimination.
Ashraf demanded immediate arrest of those involved in the murder.
National General Secretary Ilyas Muhammad Tumbe, National Secretary Riaz Farangipete,
State General Secretary, leaders of state Dalit organizations B.R. Bhaskar Prasad, Member Riyaz Kadambu, and others were present.
