Mangaluru: Theatre artist Shekhar Bhandary passes away due to COVID-19

Mangaluru: Actor Shekhar Bhandary passed away in a private hospital due to COVID-19 on Monday, August 10.

He was admitted to a private hospital in the city a few days back. However, he died of COVID-19 on Monday.

Bhandary was a well-known cine actor, limericks writer, and hailed from Karkala. He was a recipient of the Dakshina Kannada Rajyotava award and retired bank employee.
