Mangaluru: A video of five people including three children riding on a bike on M G Road has gone viral on Friday. MLA Vedavyas Kamath who shared the video on social media platforms has urged the concerned officials to take strict action against the accused.
Kamath wrote, ““This is DANGEROUS!!! Its scary to even watch, risking the lives of children along with theirs too. Five of them on a MOTORCYCLE is against the law and a threat to life(ves). One child is sleeping in between. How can a parent or anybody think of such act or even try such life threatening travel. Basic sense of travel is a must.”
“DCP Crime & Traffic Mangaluru City Must intervene and book the licence holder for such dangerous riding. I demand for a strict action and the department should catch hold of such rule breakers time to time in the city.
Life is precious, take care,” he added.
He also shared the video on twitter and tagged the city police department.
