Mangaluru: Waqf Board requests DC’s order for namaz ban during Ramzan

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada’s District Waqf Officer has in a letter on April 21 has requested the Deputy Commissioner (DC) here to order a ban on namaz conducted in mosques during Ramzan as per the State and Central government’s guidelines.
The letter further states that the DC must ask people from not to visit mosques but perform namaz at home and only the mosque workers must be allowed to perform namaz in the mosques.
The Waqf Officer also requested the DC to issue a press release stating the order.
