Married Woman Gang Raped by Four Unknown in Bellary

Bellary: A married woman reportedly gang raped by four unknown culprits on Tuesday late night at Rupanagudi in Bellary taluk of the district. Raichur based victim arrived at Rupanagudi to attend an Uroos programme here in a Darga.

Unknown group of accused attacked the lady when she went outside to attend call of the nature at night. The assailants were also tried to murder the victim after the act. Following, the attack and subsequent shock, the woman lost her consciousness and admitted to Bellary AIMS hospital for treatment.

A police complaint stands registered at Bellary Women’s Police station and police investigation is in progress to nab the culprits. The locals protested against the brutal attack and urged the concerned authorities to arrest the culprits immediately.
