Mangaluru: A case has been registered at the CEN police station against 3 persons for defrauding their employer of Rs 30 Lakhs.

B Sachhidanada Shetty, a businessman from Maroli who has taken a lease for supplying food for student mess at the Janana Sangama campus of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)  in Belagavi registered a complaint against 3 of his employees.

The complaint named Jagadish Krishna Shetty, Ankita Anand Wuslakar, and Babu Dalwai as the accused.

The complainant said that he had bagged a contract for food supply to the mess for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2022.  For this, he had appointed Jagadish Krishna Shetty as manager, Ankita Anand Wuslakar as Accountant, and Babu Dalwai as an assistant.
