M’luru: Bajrang Dal activists attempt to storm Ivan D’Souza’s residence; detained

Mangaluru: Chaotic scenes were witnessed outside the residence of AICC secretary Ivan D’Souza here on Wednesday as several Bajrang Dal activists tried to storm into his residence.
Sources said, the activists were irked by Ivan’s “objectionable” remarks about “saffron” colour and resorted to siege as a mark of protest.
However, Mangaluru South police rushed to the spot and foiled the attempt.
It is learnt that some activists of Bajrang Dal have been detained by the police.
