Mangaluru: The investigating officers of the Mangaluru Cooker Bomb case have collected some very crucial information about the accused in the case.
In connection with the Mangaluru Bomb case, the NIA had arrested Rishan of Udupi, Maza Muneer, Muzeen Abdul Rahman of Thokkotu, and Shariq of Shivamogga in November.
During the investigation, the officers gathered that Shariq and Rishan, both accused in the case used to hurl bombs on the cars and hotels to prove their potential to their handlers.
The duo used to carry out such anti-social acts in isolated places, as a result, there were no reports about it.
It may be recalled that Rishan was arrested by the NIA officers from his college after learning that he was in touch with the terror organization.
Rishan was being paid money by ISIS via a crypto wallet. Using this money he used to buy raw materials required to prepare bombs from online sites.
During the investigation, it was also revealed that Maz Muneer and Shariq used to make frequent calls to Pakistan.
The officers also recovered around 30 TB of ISIS videos, photos, and other details.
