M’luru: Man arrested for theft of handbag; valuables worth Rs 65k recovered

Kavoor police arrested a man on charges of stealing and recovered gold ornaments and a mobile phone valuing Rs 65,000 from his possession.
On November 14, the arrested Rakesh, a resident of Mangladevi had stolen a handbag belonging to an Anganwadi worker during the children’s cultural program at Kaup agricultural cooperative society auditorium.
The victim had filed a case in this regard with the police.
