M’luru: Student from B’luru dies by suicide after lecturer rejects project work

Mangaluru: A 20-year-old student from Bengaluru was found dead hanging at his PG accommodation in Mangaluru.
The deceased Bharat, 20, a resident of Kumaraswamy Layout was a hotel management student.
A death note left behind by him states that he is taking the college despite collecting fees from students was not conducting regular classes and held the college management responsible for this drastic step.
Reportedly, Bharat had gone to college on Tuesday to submit his project work but the lecturer rejected the same and refused to let him take his exams. Bharat returned to his PG and later called his mother. However, as the call went unanswered he left a message informing about his decision to end life.
A case has been registered under IPC sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
Police are investigating the matter.
