MTL signs MoU with MGM evening college to offer digital online skill development courses to students

Udupi: Manipal Technologies Limited’s Digital Solutions Division and MGM Evening College have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to offer online skill development courses to college students.
The agreement was signed by Abhay Gupte, MD & CEO of Manipal Technologies and MGM Evening College Principal Dr. Devidas Nayak in the presence of MGM College Trust President T. Satish U. Pai on Wednesday.
In the first phase, the students of MGM Evening College would be informed about the various courses via presentation and they will be given training in 16 different courses, such as skill-based animation and content writing in an effort to provide them with employment opportunities. Phase 2 plans include the beginning of degree courses with the approval of UGC and National Skill Development Council (NSDC).
The Business Head and Vice President of Digital Solutions Guruprasad Kamath, Director of Learning Innovations and Content Darshan Patil, Solution Strategist K. Vignesh Kamath, Principal of MGM College Prof Dr. Laxminarayana Karanth, Head of Computer Department Dr. M Vishwanath Pai, Professor at Department of Commerce Mallika A. Shetty were present.
