Manipal: The much-anticipated official trailer of the Tulu movie ‘Shakalaka Boom Boom’ is out now!
Manasi Sudhir, who played the role of Shiva’s mother in Kantara, released the trailer at an event held at Bharat Cinemas, Manipal on Wednesday.
Running for 2 minutes and 27 seconds, the trailer of the movie has piqued the curiosity of cine lovers. The movie, produced under the banner of UN Cinemas, is scheduled to hit the screens on January 20.
Earlier, the teaser of the trailer of the movie garnered a great response from audiences on YouTube. The foot-tapping, groovy dance number ‘Kali Song’ from the movie has also been a huge hit.
According to the film team, Shakalaka Boom Boom is an innovative experiment in Tulu cinema that gives a good message to young people, society, and families. With a dash of comedy, horror, thriller, and suspense all woven into one, the movie brings much-needed diversity and freshness to Tulu cinema.
The movie, directed by Shrisha Yellare, has been produced by Nithyananda Nayak Narasinghe and Umesh Prabhu Manibettu while Prajwal Suvarna and Arun Rai Puttur have done the photography.

The film’s cast includes Tulunada Manikya Arvind Bolar, Umesh Mijar, Pravin Markame, Mimicry Sharan, hero Godwin Sparkle, and heroine Laksha Shetty, among others.
