Kottigehara: Five students were injured when a college bus ferrying students on a picnic overturned here on Sunday.
As many as 10 students of Harish PU College Muthugepura in Mudigere taluk had been to Devaramane hill for an outing. The mishap took place when they were returning back. The driver lost control of the vehicle which hit an electric pole and overturned.
Five students who were hurt in the accident were rushed to a hospital for treatment. They are said to be out of danger.
A case has been registered at the Banakal police station.
