Mudigere: Father-son killed as car rams into tree

Mudigere: A father-son duo was killed on the spot and two others were injured when a car in which they were traveling rammed into a tree on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Narasimharaj (46) and Kiran (23), both residents of Rajajinagar in Bengaluru.
The accident occurred at Muttigepura in Mudigere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district while the family was on their way home from Dharmasthala on Sunday. When the car reached Muttigepura, the man behind the wheel lost control and rammed into a tree.
Due to the impact, Narasimharaj and Kiran died on the spot, and two others were injured in the collision. The injured have been admitted to a hospital.
Mudigere police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
