Chikkamagaluru: A minor scuffle broke out between two groups of BJP members in Mudigere on Monday.

The faction supporting MLA M P Kumaraswamy and those supporting MLC Pranesh brawled in front of the police station.

An argument broke out when the NAgar Panchayat came forward to demolish the shed at the autorickshaw stand in front of the police station, which was reportedly built under MLC’s local area development funds. There was a simmering discontent about the decision to demolish the structure.

There has been a huge difference in opinion within the party cadre regarding the BJP ticket for the Mudigere constituency.
