Multiple cases of cattle thefts cracked; four arrested

Bantwal: Several cases regarding cattle thefts in the taluk were successfully cracked by the police following the arrest of four accused on Tuesday, April 30.
The arrested have been identified as Imran alias Kutta Imran (31), Jainuddin (22), Hidayuthulla (24) and Faruk alias Malik (29) from Pudu village here. Four cows have been rescued and a Maruti Ritz car used by the accused has been seized inform the police. The accused have been to judicial custody.
According to the police, there are several cases regarding cattle thefts, assaults and riots booked against the accused at various police station including Bantwal rural police station, Bantwal town police station, Vitla, Poonjalkatte, Vamanjoor, Kavoor, Konaje, Ullal, Somavarpete, Kushalnagar, Sakleshpur, Bajpe, and Madikeri police station limits.
The operation to nab the accused was carried out by Bantwal police circle inspector Sharana Gowda, SI Prasanna, PSI Vinod, Jamburaj Mahajan, head constable Suresh, Janardhan, Madava Gowda, Radhakrishna, PC Nazeer, Manoj, Subrahmanya and Vishalakshi.
