Mumbai: Viral video of youth performing dangerous stunts on 22-storey building, three booked

Mumbai: A video of a man performing dangerous stunts on the narrow ledge of a high-rise building in Mumbai has gone viral on social media, prompting the police to launch an investigation into the incident.

As per police, the stunt was performed on Jai Bharat building. In the video, the youth is seen sitting on the ledge of the 22-storey building and sipping an energy drink. Later, he jumps on to the ledge, barely two feet in width, and performs a handstand as his friends record the stunt on their mobile cameras.

Police have booked the youth and his two associates after the video went viral.

The video was shot recently and police have been able to identify the youths with help of local residents. A search has been launched for them and they are yet to be arrested.

Notably, many people have lost their lives while attempting to take selfies and videos to get instant fame on social media.
