Mysuru: BJP wins Mayor, Deputy Mayor posts of MCC

Mysuru: In the Mysuru City Corporation Mayor and Deputy Mayor elections held on Tuesday, September 6, the Mayor, and the Deputy Mayor posts are bagged by the BJP.
Shivakumar of Ward No. 47 and Roopa of Ward No. 53 are elected as Mayor and Deputy Mayor, respectively.
It is learned that Reshma Banu from JDS and Roopa from Ward No. 53 had a tough fight for the Deputy Mayor post.
