Mysuru: Suttur seer visits JSS Hospital, inquires about health of Prahlad Modi, his family

Mysuru: Suttur Mutt Pontiff Sri Shivaratri Deshikendra Swamiji visited JSS Hospital to inquire about the health condition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi and his family, who were admitted here after meeting a road accident at Kadakola town on Tuesday.

In the accident, Prahlad Modi, his son Mehul Modi, daughter-in-law Jindal Modi, grandson Menat Mehul Modi and driver Satyanarayan suffered injuries.

However, grandson Menat suffered a head injury in which a skull bone on the left portion has damaged.

The Medical Superintendent of JSS Hospital, Dr. Madhu said, “All are out of danger and are availing treatment. Their grandson has suffered a major injury on the head, while the rest have suffered minor injuries. All the medical tests have been conducted and there is no need to worry.”

Meanwhile, MP Pratap Simha said, “Family of five were travelling in the car. The driver is said to have felt drowsy, due to which the accident occurred. Everybody is safe. The child (Menat) has suffered a fractured leg.”
