Belagavi: The prices of KMF’s ‘Nandini’ brand of milk will be revised soon. The prices will be hiked by Rs 3 per liter of milk for the benefit of the farmers, said Chairman of Karnataka Milk Feredarion and MLA Balachandra Jarkiholi on Sunday.

He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for a Refrigeration plant at Hoolikatti.

All 16 district milk unions have submitted proposals to KMF for revising the milk prices. Considering the inflation, it is necessary to raise the prices of milk in the interest of farmers, he said.

The decision on the price hike will be taken during the next general meeting of KMF, he added.
