Nejar murder case: Accused Praveen Chowgule’s judicial custody extended by 14 days

Udupi: The judicial custody of Praveen Chowgule, the accused in the gruesome murder of 4 of a family in Nejar, has been extended by 14 days on Tuesday.

Chowhule, who is being kept at Prappana Agrahara jail, appeared before the court through the virtual mode via video conferencing.

The court extended his judicial custody till December 18.

It may be recalled that four members of a family — Aynaz, her sister Afnan, brother Aseem, and their mother Haseena — were found murdered and Aynaz’z grandmother Hajinabba was found injured at their home in Nejar on November 12. Police had nabbed Praveen on November 14 from Belagavi for his involvement in the gruesome killings.
