Nejjar murder case: Youth booked for provocative FB post

Udupi: Police have registered a suo motu case against a youth over a provocative post on social media in connection with the Nejjar murder case.

The youth identified as Hafiz Mohammad in a Facebook post wrote that the locals missed out on a chance to murder Praveen Chowgale. A case has been filed under sections 155, 505(2) of the IPC Act against him for disturbing social harmony.

Praveen Chowgale had murdered four members of a family in a barbaric manner here earlier last week.
