After publicly celebrating Adolf Hitler’s birthday at a Melbourne restaurant, a neo-Nazi gang has provoked widespread outrage on social media.

According to reports, the gang obtained a reservation for the party at a Bavarian beer pub under a bogus identity.

They photographed them drinking, dining, and making Nazi salutes once they took their seats. On the table was a birthday cake with swastikas on it, as well as a portrait photo of the German ruler.

After workers at The Hof Downtown became aware of the situation, police were dispatched to intercede. The group had already paid the bill and were on their way out when the officers arrived.

Media sources have now posted photos of the contentious occasion online.
Hundreds of social media users blasted the club for holding the disgusting birthday celebration, sparking outrage.

Dvir Abramovich, the chairman of the Anti-Defamation Commission, denounced the group’s actions.

“These Hitler worshippers, who fantasise about a Fourth Reich and an Auschwitz in Melbourne are a growing threat to our safety, and if we don’t act, it will cost lives,” Abramovich told News Corp.

“No one can sleep easy knowing that such homegrown extremists are amongst us and are trying to recruit young, disaffected young men to their twisted cause,”

“It is needless to say that we do not support any kind of racism and we believe that everyone who met our team and our culture would be able to sign that! We are gutted that this happened and sorry if this upset anyone,” read the statement.

The payment from the neo-Nazi group will be donated to a local Melbourne charity, according to the statement.
