New e-court services launched at Karnataka High Court

Bengaluru: Supreme Court Justice DY Chandrachud, who is also the chairman of the e-Committee of the apex court, inaugurated six online facilities of the Karnataka High Court here.
The five online initiatives include virtual court for traffic violations that also enables payment of penalties online, e-filing facility at the high court and district courts, a website for commercial courts, for certified copies and online payment of court fee, process charges and copying fee.
On the occasion, Justice Chandrachud also said that 3,300 e-Sewa Kendras would be opened in courts across the country making it easier for people to pay fines through these Kendras.
