Newlywed couple watches movie at a theatre; wife mysteriously goes missing during the interval

Udupi: In a bizarre incident, a newlywed couple had gone to a watch a movie at a movie theatre at Manipal and everything was fine, but after the interval, the wife mysteriously went missing.

This incident has taken place at Inox movie theatre in Manipal. This incident has taken place with a resident of Katpady, identified as Loyed Monterio, who is employed abroad. His wife Jane D’Cruz is employed at a private hotel in Mangaluru. Their marriage was finalized a year ago and they got married recently in a grand wedding ceremony whose reception was held at a hotel in Mangaluru.

As it was a week off, Loyed went to watch the movie ’Simba’ along with his wife Jane (28) at Inox theatre in Manipal.

During the interval of the movie, his wife Jane took excuse to visit the restroom. After sometime the movie began but no matter how long the husband waited, the wife failed to show up. Concerned, Loyed searched around in the theatre for his wife and also enquired with the theatre staff, but to no avail. Besides, Jane never reached back home and is presumed missing.

Jane is originally from Moodbidri and it is being said that she was working in Mangaluru. The CCTV footage of the theatre has been scrutinized by the family members and the police. A missing case has been filed with the Manipal police.
