NIA raids: PFI activists stage protest at Kapu, detained by police

PFI district president Fayaz and others were detained by police for staging a protest in Kapu on National Highway 66 against the arrest of their leaders.
On Thursday morning, NIA conducted simultaneous raids across the length and breadth of the country, which led to the arrest of 106 PFI activists in 11 states for allegedly supporting terror activities in the country.
Protesting the raids and subsequent arrests, Fayaz and party activists held a protest on the highway without getting police permission.
Kapu circle police inspector Poovaiah conducted the operation.
