Novak Djokovic, World No. 1 player in men’s tennis, was tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, June 23.
Soon after that, Australian tennis player, Nick Kyrgios, retweeted a video of tennis stars including Djokovic dancing around in a nightclub and said, “Prayers up to all the players that have contracted Covid – 19. Don’t @ me for anything I’ve done that has been ‘irresponsible’ or classified as ‘stupidity’ – this takes the cake,”

Earlier, Djokovic was heavily criticised on social media for organising the tournament, The Adria Tour, amid pandemic and also during the tour, planners were seen shaking hands, hugging, and then flouting social distancing guidelines.
However, Novak Djokovic said that the tournament was held with good intentions, at a time when the virus had supposedly weakened. He also said that he was extremely sorry for each individual case of infection and hoped it will not complicate anyone’s health situation
