Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr Rajendra K V informed that the night curfew rules will be applicable to even Kambala and Yakshagana events.
Amid fresh COVID-19 concerns and the increasing threat of the new Omicron variant of coronavirus the state government, on Sunday, announced its decision to impose a night curfew for 10 days from December 28, between 10 pm to 5 am.
Speaking on the implementation of the order, Dr Rajendra K V said that all programs need to stop by 10 pm and no relaxations will be allowed for any event.
Further, he added that a meeting will be held with program organisers to ensure strict implementation of the guidelines.
