One dead, 4 injured after tractor overturns in Madhugiri

Madhugiri: One person was killed and 4 others injured as a tractor overturned in Madhugiri on Wednesday, January 11.

The incident took place near Murarji Desai Residential School on the outskirts of Doddamalur village in Hobali.

The deceased has been identified as Halaganahalli Darshan (20).  Ramesh (26), Ajith (24) and two others have been injured.

The mishap occurred when the tractor driver was returning from Chikkamalur. He allegedly tried to avoid a pothole and the vehicle overturned.

A case has been registered.
