One killed in factory wall collapse in Sullia

Sullia: A man was killed after the wall of a factory collapsed in  Sullia on Friday, November 5.

The victim identified as Abdul Khader (48) was a scrap merchant. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Khader had taken up the work of clearing an old building named Malnad Cashew Factory. He had arrived there with some workers on Friday morning.

The incident occurred when Khader was pulling the iron truss placed above the wall with the help of a rope. The wall unexpectedly collapsed on Khader and he died on spot.

The police officials visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
