Bengaluru: The state Congress once again took a jibe at the BJP over the delay in the selection of the leader of the opposition. In a series of tweets on Saturday, it tweeted a photo of an empty chair with the caption “Opposition leader wanted.”
In the tweet fashioned like a typical job advertisement, Congress also listed out the ideal qualities for the vacant post.
According to Congress, an opposition leader who “knows democracy” is needed. Spelling out the undesirable qualities, the tweet said that the person should not be “a puppet of RSS” or “a communally minded” person. Having a “degree from WhatsApp University” and being a “liar” was also undesirable.
“There is a need for an opposition leader who has a dignified personality, a person who weighs his words. We need an opposition leader to strengthen democracy!” the tweet read.
