Outgoing Compol tweets farewell msg in Tulu

Mangaluru: IPS officer Dr PS Harsha on Sunday took to Twitter to bid farewell to residents of Mangaluru following his transfer as deputy inspector general (DIG) and commissioner, Information and Public Relation, Bengaluru.
“To all the loving people of Mangaluru, I have been serving as the city commissioner of this city for the last 11 months and now my routine transfer is taking place. I have discharged my duties with due co-operation from the department and people of the city. I would like to thank everyone for supporting me,” he tweeted.

A 2004 batch IPS officer, Dr Harsha took charge as the police commissioner of Mangaluru Commissionerate on August 9, 2019.
As per the transfer order issued by the state government, Vikash Kumar Vikas has succeeded Dr Harsha as a new police commissioner.
