PDO assault case: Four arrested

Mangaluru: The city police arrested four persons for assaulting a Public Development Officer (PDO) on Thursday May 27.
The arrested are identified as Mohammed Idayathulla (25), Ahmed Basheer (30) and Abdul Siddique (33) from Farangipete, and Aboobakkar Siddique (26) from Kuthar. One more accused Mansoor Ali is yet to be arrested.
PDO Rajendra Shetty under the Mallur gram panchayat was attacked by five persons on May 25 after he asked them to wear a masks.
