Phalguni river: Unidentified corpse found

Mangaluru: An unidentified corpse has been found in the Phalguni River opposite to the Dakshina Kannada zilla panchayat government high school at Kasaba Bengre. The corpse was noticed by the locals at around 11 am on Thursday, August 29 and brought to the bank of the river.

The deceased is a male presumed to be aged abut 55 to 60 years, wearing a black pant, full sleeve shirt having blue stripes on it, a saffron colour vest, black belt on his waist. There is a thread around his waist also which has a tayita on it.

The corpse has been shifted to Wenlock hospital.
