Police arrest Priyank Kharge’s close associate

Kalaburagi: Yadrami police have arrested Raju Kapanur, a close associate of Congress leader Priyank Kharge over possession of illegally acquired country made guns.

According to the police Raju had bought two country made pistols and 30 bullets from Guralingappa in September.

Police also recorded Guralingappa video statement mentioning Raju’s name in this regard.

Following this police issued two notices.

On Friday, BJP leader Manikantha Rathod released a video accusing Raju Kapanur of acquiring the gun to kill him.
