
Possession of unlicensed country guns: One held at MIA

Mangaluru: The central India security force (CISF) staff at the Mangalore International Airport arrested a person after noticing that he was in possession of two country-made guns for which he did not have any license.
The arrested is Havanje Reynold D’Souza (24) of Brahmavar.
Reportedly, Reynold had come to the airport to pick his brother-in-law. His car was found parked in the parking area and the CISF personnel noticed that the car had two guns.
Reynold who had gone hunting two days back had left behind his two country-made guns inside the car, informed sources.
A case was registered against him, and upon being produced in the court, he was remanded to judicial custody.
