Puttur: Officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA)  continued their search for the accused in the BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru murder case after having issued a lookout notice for the arrest of four persons associated with the now-banned Popular Front of India (PFI).

Posters carrying the pictures of the four wanted persons were found pasted at public places including bus stands, and railway stations in Puttur, Sullia, and Bellare. They carried appeals to the public for their input to aid the search operations.

Sources said that a 6-member team of the NIA is currently involved in search operations being conducted in and around Puttur. The operations were based on technical evidence unearthed by the agency, sources added.
