Prominent Konkani theatre activist and playwright Benna Ruzai no more

Mangaluru: Benedict Miranda, Konkani theatre activist and playwright popularly known as Benna Ruzai, passed away on Monday August 24

Ruzai acted in several Konkani plays and also wrote and staged many social and religious plays

He was Born on March 21, 1946, Ruzai was also a journalist, he was sub-editor of Mai-Gavn for two years and also editor of a parish bulletin of Rozario parish for three years

Benna Ruzai’s wife, Theresa Miranda, also known as Minna Ruzai, was also a stage artiste who passed away last year.
