PSI recruitment fraud: ADGP Amrit Paul transferred

Bengaluru: State government, on Wednesday, issued transfer orders for IPS officer Amrit Paul who has been the Additional Director General of Police, Recruitment and Training.
The development comes after the IPS officer’s name surfaced in the investigation into the PSI recruitment fraud case.
Amrit Paul has been transferred to the Internal Security department. Another IPS officer R Hitendra has been given the additional charge as ADGP.
A DHNS report on April 13 said that Officials from the CID’s Financial Intelligence Unit spent more than two hours in Paul’s office seeking information about the recruitment exam.
