PSI Recruitment Scam: CID takes 62-year-old accused into custody

Bengaluru: In relation to PSI Recruitment Scam the CID police have taken a 62-year-old person named Ganapathi Bhat into custody who is reportedly said to be associated with the accused DySP P Shantha Kumar.
Ganapathi was caught at Herur village of Sirsi.
As per the reports, he and DySP Shantha Kumar were allegedly involved in a deal with the candidates.
It can be noted that, earlier, the CID Police had nabbed ADGP Amrit Paul in connection with the scam. Later he was remanded in police custody for 10 days.
