Punjalkatte: Punjalkatte sub inspector K.P. Sutesh has been transferred to the SP office in Mangaluru with immediate effect.

The government issued the transfer order following a protest by the lawyers in several places, demanding action against sub-inspector K.P. Sutesh and other personnel of the Punjalkatte police station for their alleged misbehavior with Kuldeep Shetty, a city advocate.

They alleged that Mr. Sutesh and other police personnel behaved rudely with Mr. Shetty and abused him while taking away Mr. Shetty from the latter’s house in Punjalkatte police station limits on December 2.

Currently, the Punjalakatta police station has been assigned to Uppinangady SI Nandakumar.
