Punjalkatte: Speeding car collides with two-wheeler; one dead

A car collided with a two-wheeler in Rayi, Bantwal resulting in the death of the two-wheeler rider and causing serious injuries to another person.

The deceased has been identified as Chandrasekhara, a 50-year-old electrical contractor and resident of Bantwal. The injured person, Idli Yogeesh, is a resident of Bantwal.

It is said that the accident occurred at around 11 pm when the two-wheeler traveling from Siddakate towards Bantwal collided with a car in Rayi.

The driver of the car has been held responsible for the incident due to his alleged speeding and reckless driving.

A case has been registered.
