Puttur: 15-year-old student killed in road accident

Puttur: In a tragic accident, a student, who was traveling as a pillion rider on a two-wheeler was killed after a tanker hit the vehicle near the Nattibail petrol bunk at Uppinangady on Monday, September 6.

The deceased is Adwith (15).

Adwith’s mother, Anuradha, an Anganwadi worker was carrying her children, Ashwith and Adwith, in her two-wheeler when the accident took place.

After the tanker hit their vehicle, Adwith came under the wheels of the tanker and died instantly.

Both Ashwith and Anuradha suffered serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment.
