Puttur: Absconding accused in attempt to murder case arrested

Police arrested an absconding accused in connection with a 2019 attempt to murder case.

The accused Irshad had fled overseas and skipped attending the court hearing. A warrant had been issued against him.

Police arrested him on October 28 when he landed at Bajpe airport from overseas. Irshad was produced in court and has been sent to judicial custody.
