Puttur: Chain snatching incident at Tenkila

Puttur: Three unidentified youths on a black Pulsar motorbike snatched a woman’s Mangalasutra and fled on Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at Tenkila.

One of the three culprits acted as an acquaintance of the woman, who was walking on the bypass road, before snatching the chain and fleeing on the motorbike.

The woman immediately informed the city police station. A search operation for the trio is underway.
