Puttur: Police on Saturday detained five persons including a girl allegedly for indulging in immoral activities after consuming ganja at Birumale Hill in the taluk.

As per reports, the gang had arrived in a car bearing registration number KL57-P4414. Members of a Hindu organization who came to know about these activities arrived at the spot and informed the police.

The five people were taken to the police station for questioning.

It is suspected that naive Hindu girls are being trapped by making false promises of love and immoral activities are being done with them after making them consume ganja.
