Puttur: Goods rickshaw-School bus collide head-on; tempo driver killed

Puttur: A Goods rickshaw driver was killed in a road accident after his vehicle collided with a school bus near Malebettu in Koyuru village on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Razzak (50), a resident of Pilichamundikallu of Kuvettu village.

The incident occurred when the school bus carrying children traveling to Ujire from Koyyur collided with a goods rickshaw that was moving from Belthangadi toward Koyyur.

Two other persons,  Hanif (48) resident of Pilichamundikallu village, Kuvettu and K. Mohammad (57) resident of Panakaje were severely injured in the accident and admitted to a nearby hospital.
